Trick or Treat

I like Hallowe'en on one level, the mystical, thin veil feel, the alternate identities... I'm not, however, fond of the greeting trick-or-treaters. I don't mind the giving out of candy, and there are always a few cool costumes, I just have a hard time dealing with strangers, even if they're two feet tall and dressed like puppies.

Maybe I'm neurotic, but those two hours of door knocking kick my anxiety into gear. I obviously need help.
